#late
I was pretty late to the whole Instagram thing, yep, took me awhile to get it. There are aspects that I still don’t get. For instance, why do people go round automatically expecting you to follow them when they have followed you? I only follow people that produce images that I find visual appealing, I think that’s fair enough. I also follow my families accounts because… well I have too, I think it’s the law. Weirdly our Jack Russell, Tilly, has an Instagram account (@tillycordner) and she’s not half bad with a camera either. She could be useful as an assistant on some jobs, especial when people step out of line!
#hashtag
I made my first post on 18th July 2014 and I had no idea why I was doing it, seemed like the rest of the world was Instagraming so thought I’d better get to it. Two and a bit years later I’m still enjoy using it and hash-tagging the hell out of it. It’s a great resource for checking out locations for shoots, letting family know what we’re upto when traveling and generally useful as a visual diary. I’m sure there’s a million other uses for it.
