It’s hard to believe the winter is over and it’s officially Spring. Those long cold dark nights are soon to be a distant memory, the sun now carries a little heat in those life giving rays… but hold on a minute, wasn’t it this time last year we had the horrendous snow storms in Northern Ireland? The worst in generations!
Where I live on the shores of Belfast Lough we didn’t have any snow, not a drop yet a mile or so inland they where having 18ft drifts all pretty surreal. I had hopes to get out and about to photograph this once in a life time event (hopefully). But it was a week before I could venture into the wilderness and by that stage it was too late.
For me spring is real when the daffodils are in full bloom.
The government is telling us that the British economy is coming out of the gloom as well. Now I’m no economist (just ask my wife) but that’s a good thing. I have just had my busiest February in sometime, between picking up a couple of new clients and shooting for my current clients it was a good month.
Lets see what March brings…
