Architecture and built environments require photography that captures both design and detail. Over thirty years I've photographed everything from grand civic buildings to new-build homes, and the brief is always the same underneath: show the building the way its architect actually intended it to be seen.

Projects include a full interior and exterior commission at Manor House Country Hotel in Fermanagh, the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin, Queen's University Belfast, and the Palace Demesne for Armagh City Council. On the residential side, I documented FourSeven Homes' new-build development in detail — down to the charred Siberian larch cladding and the joinery on a magnetic door latch, the kind of craftsmanship that's easy to miss in a wide shot but is often exactly what a developer wants to show.

Good architectural photography is mostly patience with light and a careful eye for perspective — waiting for the moment a room or a façade actually looks like itself, rather than forcing it. I work closely with architects, developers and business owners to make sure the finished images reflect the intention behind the design, not just what's technically in front of the camera.

Whether it's a new development, a completed project for an award submission, or a commercial interior, my aim is always to produce photography that communicates the quality and character of the space.
